Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive a company vehicle to collect and deliver parcels to customers.
- Follow assigned routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Load and unload packages, making sure they are handled carefully.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, including recipient signatures.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service at all times.
- Inspect the vehicle daily to ensure it is clean and in good condition.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Report any accidents, delays, or issues to the supervisor immediately.
Job Requirements
- Must have a valid Code 08 Driver’s License.
- At least 1 year of driving experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Johannesburg’s roads, routes, and traffic rules.
- Must be physically fit to load and unload parcels.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines.
- Must have a clear criminal record.
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification is an advantage but not required.
